Nicolas Lescureux, PhD
I am a CNRS researcher working at Centre for Functional and Evolutive Ecology (CEFE) in Montpellier, France. My research is focusing on human - animal relationships and the way animal behaviour is influencing human perceptions, knowledge and practices. I have been doing research on human - large carnivores conflicts in Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Poland and Brazil. I am now trying to understand the role of livestock and game animals in human - large carnivores relationships. I am a funding member of the COADAPHT network bringing researchers from different disciplines to think about possible ways of coadaptation between human activities and large carnivores.
